We have made a change to Duo, Emory’s application for two-factor authentication. Previously, the “Remember Me for 30 days” option was tied to the specific application for which you had set that option. Setting this option for one application had no impact on your authentication to other Duo-protected applications.

We have modified the use of that option so that it applies to ALL Duo-protected web applications. Now that this change has been implemented, checking the “Remember Me for 30 days” option will enable users to skip Duo authentication for all the web-based Duo-protected applications for 30 days (as long as they are using the same browser on the same computer).

We are hopeful this will make the Duo experience here at Emory even better for our end users.
