2014 Performance Evaluation Timeline and Instructions

Employee self-evaluation due to manager by May 23 (Next Friday).

As we continue our rollout of the new performance management tool, process, and training, I wanted to once again share some key dates and deadlines regarding the FY2014 performance review cycle for the LITS division, along with several important tips or reminders.

2014 LITS Performance Evaluation Timeline:

  • Manager to “create” performance evaluation in PeopleSoft HR  – system is now open for input
  • Employee self-evaluation due to manager by May 23 (Next Friday)
  • Manager evaluation to be completed in PeopleSoft HR by June 13
  • Next-level management review and approval of evaluations and ratings by June 23
  • Final ratings approved and verified by July 23 (face-to-face performance discussions can now begin)
  • All face-to-face performance discussions to be completed by Aug 8 (prior to year-end compensation actions)
  • Compensation letters to be distributed in mid-to-late August (specific dates to be communicated as we get closer)

Note that this timeline has been created to consolidate historical practices across the entire LITS division and to ensure adequate time to effectively complete each stage of the process.
