For the third year in a row, the Woodruff Library hosted a therapy dog session to help students de-stress during finals. Coordinated by the Outreach & Education team, the dogs were provided by Canine Assistants, a therapy dog training group out of Milton, GA.

Students and staff were able to play and pet the dogs for a 6-hour block in the Jones Room. People would sign up for 10-minute sessions and could come back as many times as they wanted.

The event was staffed by volunteers from throughout the library.

“We love doing this,” said Erin Mooney, Outreach and Eduction Librarian. “The staff all want to bring their own dogs! The kids love it, they sign up and walk out with big smiles on their faces.”
