Chris Handley has taken on a part-time role in the GBL doing marketing and graphic design. He is also the owner and creative director of the Snowball Creative Group, a company he has run for the past 10 years. Previously, he was the creative director for a PR firm called Cohn, Overstreet and Parish.

Born in St. Louis, MO, Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in visual communications/design from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He came to Georgia in 1995 after spending a few years living in Hawaii.

Chris enjoys photography, mountain biking, scuba diving and traveling. He’s been to Spain and Italy and lately has focused on western US travel, visiting places such as Oregon and Missoula, MT.

“I love working for such a great university, and in my own community of Decatur,” says Chris. “Many of my friends work here as well and speak highly of it.”
